A vintage pair of door knocker style earrings that have dramatic costume emeralds set into a hammered gold setting. The emeralds are fastened to a round clear crystal on a clip-on style earring backing. The earrings were acquired from the collection of a Parisienne woman who was employed by Yves Saint Laurent and collected the finest couture costume jewelry. Circa 1980’s.
Earrings are unsigned but are attributed to Yves Saint Laurent.
